Term and ownership
Am I tied in for years?
No. The first term is 12 months. After that you can cancel any month, with 1 month’s notice.
Who owns my website?
Your copy, photos and domain name always belong to you. The domain is registered in your name from the start. After 12 months you can take the complete site with you for free. This agreement will be part of the terms and conditions, which a lawyer is drafting for me.
What if I don’t like the design?
Not happy with the first design? You can stop at no cost. If you do want to continue, I adjust the design in 2 feedback rounds.
What happens if I stop?
After the first 12 months you cancel with 1 month’s notice. You can then take the complete site with you for free. Your copy, photos and domain name were already yours.
Building and maintenance
Who writes the copy?
I write the copy and choose the photos. You send what you already have, such as your logo and your own photos. Would you rather write the copy yourself? That’s fine too.
How quickly will my site be online?
A Start site is online within 5 working days, a Growth site within 10 and a Complete site within 15. The clock starts once I have all the materials and you have approved the design.
Can I make changes myself?
Yes, you can edit text and photos yourself. On top of that, I make a number of small changes for you each month: 1 with Start, 5 with Growth and 10 with Complete. A small change takes up to 15 minutes. Changes you don’t use in a month don’t carry over.
What if my site stops working or gets hacked?
That counts as urgent. Think of a site that is down or hacked, or forms and payments that don’t work. An automatic check sends me an alert and I respond within 8 hours, including outside working hours.
Costs and what’s included
Isn’t a one-off website cheaper?
That depends on your situation. If you have a site built as a one-off, you pay for the build in one go and then arrange hosting, updates and changes separately. With me you pay no setup costs, and that maintenance is included in the monthly fee. In our introductory chat we put the figures for your situation side by side.
What isn’t included in the subscription?
Work that takes longer than a small change of 15 minutes costs €75 per hour, always after a quote. Ongoing SEO, such as blogs and link building, is a separate service. A large online shop is a separate offer with a fixed monthly price based on a quote, with no percentage of your sales. The small online shop in Complete doesn’t connect to accounting, stock or marketplace systems. I don’t guarantee uptime or results.
Do you also work for private individuals?
No, I only work for businesses. That’s why all prices exclude VAT. Each month you get an invoice with an iDEAL payment link, with 14 days to pay.
What about my domain name and email?
Your domain name is always registered in your name, even if I arrange it for you. Every plan includes business mailboxes: 1 with Start, 2 with Growth and 5 with Complete. An extra mailbox costs €5 per month.

Can you come and visit me?
Yes. Our introductory chat takes place online or by phone, but I can also visit you. Within 50 km of Arnhem that’s free. Further away, I charge travel costs.
