Who I am

Shammo Solutions is the business of Jany Shammo in Arnhem. I am responsible for the data that comes in through this website.

Registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) is still to follow. Once it’s done, I’ll add the KvK number and address here.

Send questions about privacy to janyshammo@live.nl.

What data the form collects

Through the request form you send me your name, company name, email address and a short description.

You only fill in your phone number, your current website and the plan that appeals to you if you want to.

To prevent spam and abuse, the server checks how often requests come in when you submit the form. Your IP address is used briefly for this.

What I use your data for

I only use your data to answer your request and to arrange an introductory chat with you. If you become a client, I also use it to carry out our agreement.

The legal basis is that you yourself ask me to contact you, before we enter into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

I don’t use your data for advertising, and I don’t sell it to anyone.

How long I keep your data

The website itself doesn’t store your request. The form sends your details as an email to my mailbox via Lettermint.

If you don’t become a client, I delete your request no later than 12 months after our last contact. If you do become a client, I keep your data for as long as you’re a client and after that for as long as the law requires. For the accounts, that is 7 years.

Services I use

Vercel hosts this website. Vercel is an American company. The request form is processed in the EU, in the Frankfurt region. Vercel delivers the pages themselves from servers around the world so they load quickly. Because Vercel is American, data may still fall under US law. I make arrangements about this in a data processing agreement with Vercel.

Lettermint sends your request as an email to my mailbox. Lettermint is a Dutch company and processes the data in the EU.

My mailbox is hosted by Microsoft (Outlook). That’s where your request arrives.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts how often pages are viewed. It does this without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. I only see totals, such as the number of visits per page.

If you send me a message on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that message under its own privacy policy. That only happens if you choose WhatsApp yourself.

Cookies and fonts

This website doesn’t set any cookies. That’s why I don’t ask for your consent to cookies.

The fonts are loaded from this website itself. Your IP address isn’t sent to Google or any other party for this.

Your rights

You can view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object to its use, or ask me to transfer your data.

Send your request to janyshammo@live.nl. I’ll respond within one month.

Making a complaint

Not happy with how I handle your data? Let me know and we’ll find a solution together.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl (opens in a new tab).
